Supply List- Please bring to class:
Knitting Needles:
1 set size 8 (US), 10"
long (or longer) straight needles (or size 7 through

flat.
Yarn: 1
skein (3-4 oz.) 4-ply worsted weight (medium weight),
smooth, light colored yarn.
(To judge weight of yarn for worsted weight,
there are approximately 200 yards per
3.5 oz (100 gram) skein. Some good choices available
at Hobby Lobby are Lion Brand Wool worsted
weight wool yarn, TLC Essentials acrylic yarn, or Red Heart worsted
Super Saver 4-ply acrylic yarn.)
Note: Further supplies are needed for making
the optional
Beginner Hat and Scarf patterns shown above, if you desire to make these for extra practice. Patterns will be provided
in class, included in fee, but extra yarn and sets of needles would be needed, and will be discussed
at first class. Or email me for info.
